I am an interdisciplinary researcher who integrates ecology with cultural geography. My PhD project investigates interactions of woody vegetation with built cultural heritage in the Cornish landscape. My research involves 1) phenomenological narration of the endangered craft of Cornish hedging, 2) remotely scanning effects of tree roots on Cornish hedges, 3) photogrammetry modelling of plant-heritage interactions, and 4) narrating local stakeholder perceptions of plant-heritage interactions and coexistence.
