Daniel Wilson is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Exteter working on ocean air-sea Co2 flux during tropical cyclones and carbon accounting as part of the ESA MAXSS and Convex Seascape Survey projects.
His previous work as part of the RASP-SEA project used data from GPS tracked plastic bottles to understand the transport of plastic bottles in SE Asia and around the coast of SW England. Before this role, Daniel's PhD involved the set up, validation and use of a Lagrangian particle tracking model that simulated the transport of microplastics in the Southern Ocean.
