Gavin Kellerman
Postgraduate Researcher
Centre for Geography and Environmental Sciences
Gavin is a PhD student focusing on recreational disturbance and songbirds. His research explores both the avian and human dimensions of recreation, including direct ecological impacts, spatial patterns of site use by humans, and motivations driving target recreationist behaviours. He is especially interested in applying behavioural insights to inform management strategies, which is his testing using an experimental approach. Gavin's research is funded in part by Songbird Survival and the University of Exeter.
