About me:
My background is in Land Surveying and Spatial Information Systems, specifically Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. I am particularly interested in using satellite imagery for environmental monitoring purposes.
My current research, as a postdoctoral researcher with the KaLi project, aims to assess ecohydrological conditions (i.e., groundwater level changes, above-ground surface water extent, and time of stagnation) in peatlands in Central Borneo (Indonesia) using SAR satellite imagery.
Research keywords: satellite remote sensing; SAR polarimetry; SAR interferometry; image classifications; machine learning; Python; JavaScript; wetlands; peatlands, agriculture; biodiversity, land use/land cover mapping
Qualifications:
