Jamie is a PhD student within Camborne School of Mines (CSM), part of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Penryn Campus, Cornwall.
He is studying the processes behind the formation of Rare Earth Element (REE)-rich carbonatites and REE-poor carbonatites within Monte Muambe, part of the Chilwa Alkaline Province in Mozambique.
Jamie is primarily supervised by Dr Sam Broom-Fendley (University of Exeter), alongside Professor Frances Wall (University of Exeter), Cedric Simonet (Altona Rare Earths), and Yannick Buret (Natural History Museum)
Jamie is funded by a PhD Studentship from the NERC GW4+ Doctoral Training Partnership and by his Case Partner, Altona Rare Earths.
