Ben is a PhD student based at the Camborne School of Mines. His research focusses on the relative contributions of magmatic-hydrothermal processes towards rare metal enrichment and depletion in peraluminous granites. Ben is primarily supervised by Professor Robin Shail (University of Exeter), alongside Professor Jens Andersen (University of Exeter), Dr Sam Broom-Fendley (University of Exeter), Dr Simon Tapster (British Geological Survey) and Dr Nick Roberts (British Geological Survey). He is funded by a PhD Studentship from the TARGET Mineral Resources Centre for Doctoral Training and by his Case Partner, Imerys British Lithium.
