Mining and Minerals
Currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Mining Engineer and PhD from the University of Exeter, specialising in resource modelling, geostatistics, and the application of machine learning in mining and geosciences. With over 15 years of teaching and research experience in Academia, I have developed expertise in academic teaching, research, consulting and developing commercial solutions for the mining industry (geostatistical and AI-driven mineral resource modelling, lithological mapping, production scheduling, data mining solutions). Currently, I am working with Prof. Julian Ortiz, Mark Cutifani / Anglo American Chair in Mining Innovation. My research focuses on predictive geometallurgy and the development of deployable production scheduling methods to improve recovery, energy efficiency, and waste reduction, enabling a sustainable and circular mining value chain.
