Overview:

I am a PhD student at Camborne School of Mines and a member of the EM3 research group. My PhD research focuses on the use of novel solvents, such as ionic liquids and deep eutectic solvents, for processing battery metals from ores and mine wastes. My supervisors are Dr Rich Crane and Prof. Karen Hudson-Edwards. I am part of the EPSRC DTP under the theme ‘Mining for the Future’.
