Becca is a PhD student in the Active Earth research group within the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (Camborne School of Mines). Her PhD project focuses on the dynamics of volcanic plumes formed during explosive eruptions. She is primarily supervised by Dr Thomas Aubry, alongside a broad co-supervisory team including Professor Gavin Tabor (Department of Engineering), Professor Matt Watson (University of Bristol), and Dr Sam Engwell (British Geological Survey). Becca is funded by both the Engineering and Physcial Sciences Research Council and the British Geological Survey.
